Finished this one years ago and I stumbled across this gameduring a sale because its hard to find good discounts today, seriously, steam sales truly fell from their grace, but nevermind, going back to the review, I stumbled across it and remembered about when I finished this game and bought it here when I finished it previously outside steam, rock of ages is a unique and fun strategy game, here you play as a boulder which objective is to run as fast as you can to your enemy's castle door so you can crash on to damage and destroy it and win the level, between each run you will use your earned coins to build defenses to your bases, units you have in every one of those strategy games, its a unique mix of gameplay ideas that works well, theres multiplayer too on top of the game's surprisingly good campaign mode, the game is further improved by its great sense of humor and style, theres a good soundtrack here, I never got to play its sequels cuz for me it was a fine idea that just needed to be executed once and this one was executed as well as it could but since Im unaware of the state or quality of the sequels you may check on them to decide which one to pick considering theyre cheap too, they may be better choices since theyre newer and possible improvements of the first, Im satisfied with just this one, its a good, funny game and I do recommend it.
Goofy premise, unique style, fun gameplay, and great delivery.
The multiplayer mode further enhances replayability, introducing a competitive edge that adds depth to the experience.
- Nice graphics, Even though this game is quite old it still looks very nice.
Overall this seems like a game primarily for children as both the humour and difficulty point at that.
The music and sound effects blend seamlessly with the visuals, reinforcing the game’s playful atmosphere.
Theme by theme

No recurring complaints surfaced in this sample.
Ranked by how many sampled reviews mention each topic. A topic sits in a column by what reviewers said about that topic; the percentage beside it is how many of them recommended the game anyway. 5 more themes were each raised by fewer than 6 sampled reviews and are not shown.
