The soundtrack is really good, some of the best original metal music I've heard a small indie game.
I guess it was perhaps meant as a joke to hardcore roguelite fans, but if you want newbies to join, perhaps some ability to change the difficulty for us filthy casuals, or even a longer more guided tutorial would be good to ease folks into the game.
They are super nice people and put so much love and passion into this: creative idea, awesome art, dynamic soundtrack, and very fun gameplay.
The pixel art style is stunning and perfectly captures the eldritch metal aesthetic.
Works really well on Steam Deck and on macOS.
