What players think
The recurring themes across 47 analysed reviews: what players praise, what divides them, and what to know.
Gameplay loop is a lot of fun and the bosses are fun and challenging.
The advantage of this is obvious: double the characters means double the upgrades, which, in a genre that's pretty much defined by its copious upgrades, is a huge boon.
Perfect kind of game for couch co-op shenanigans.
Seven bucks is a really modest price for what's on offer (beyond gameplay, the visuals and especially music are pretty great), so I'd say go ahead and up the game if you're interested!
