Finding paintings by scanning them with cameras or using a UV light, finding secret messages, spray painting locations, or even trying to find an ID badge hidden somewhere in a room where UV footprints led you definitely adds on a ton more gameplay and excitement.
It has some borrowed gameplay elements from other recently popular games, with story mixed in via operations, but keeps it all fresh and unique.
The overall premise is a bit of a fusion of ideas (whether coincidental or intentional) from popular multiplayer co-op games which is usually a big red flag, but in the case of Midnight Heist, it works really well.
