Call of Juarez: Bound in Blood

Still, it was a pretty entertaining western story with all the badass cliches and macho characters.

Its gameplay is significantly more action-oriented, with greatly decreased instances of clunky stealth and platforming.

A bit of a shame, since the visuals are largely improved over its predecessor, despite running only on DirectX 9: textures now have much-needed, if exaggerated depth and wrinkles, and animation across the board approaches what one would expect from human beings.

Combat and movement are faster and more responsive, though I do miss the weapons firing projectiles instead of hitscan.

The soundtrack consists of some Country, and Rock musical loops, which is always a plus!

And lastly, dialog and voice mixing were improved modestly: the playable characters are the highlight, but the antagonists and side characters have less convincing delivery of their lines.
