Combat is fun and challenging, if a bit janky, and with a solid set of RPG mechanics with stats and skills trees, there are many ways to play.

Combat as a mage was more engaging than I expected since your character is pretty nimble and can do backflips while shooting magic arrows, but the combat does lose interest over time since it eventually just settles into repeating the exact same moves.
