Despite its absurdly simple premise, Droid Assault is a surprisingly good game as nearly all of its gameplay elements are well executed.
The solid retro-arcade styled visuals give it a personality and make the experience fairly interesting just to look at.
Can be played with a friend using Remote Play Together for co-op.
Droid Assault has no music other than that of the main menu, but has fairly good sound effects.
I just played this some minutes but, this is a lot of fun and the compatibility with linux makes it fantastic.
Multiplayer deathmatch and capture the flag modes would be nice for example.
