great game, there is something here for sure. but holy crap are these routes messed up. the dynos are absolute garbage. you person will MAYBE grab where you need them to if youre lucky, or you will just flail around and fall or completely launch yourself into the sun and crash down the mountain. your persons model will freak out and turn their legs inside out and arms bending in ways it shouldnt which ruins a perfect run. the castle level is EASILY the worst of all of the level on how the holds just dont care. a lot of the holds make no sense on how you are suppose to hold them and the center of gravity sometimes doesnt even matter. you will fall. any other level is WAY better for climbing. as frustrating as this is, the game is super fun and they are doing very well on improving this game. i cannot wait to see how it improves. i may have said a lot of negatives in this review but the gameplay on other levels and the climbing is VERY fun and makes up for a lot of frustration. already a solid game if you like climbing
Oh and small tip: With F5 you can turn off the UI/HUD so have an even more simulation like feeling.
The moment the physics of the movement *clicked* my brain automatically started to move the characters body like I would do in real life.
The climbing system takes some getting used to and having tried both mouse and keyboard and playing on the Steam Deck with the default controller scheme I have to say I like both of the input systems, each has its own flaws and strong points but both work great.

Theme by theme
Every theme is scored by what reviewers actually said about it, not just whether they recommended the game.
Ranked by how many sampled reviews mention each topic. A topic sits in a column by what reviewers said about that topic; the percentage beside it is how many of them recommended the game anyway. 3 more themes were each raised by fewer than 4 sampled reviews and are not shown.
