Yet Another Zombie Survivors

To me it's like Skyforce Reloaded, Pinball FX or Horizon Chase Turbo: grindy, but in a good way, and relaxing, it can eventually be played while listening to a podcast or your music of choice.

A nice range of playable characters to choose from and all of them are different enough regarding skills and weapons.

Where this game excels is the graphics (really gorgeous visuals), the game engine (no abrupt frame drops in high intensity situations) and the team building aspect.

While YAZS's story isn't really what you'll play it for, the banter between the heroes--whom you'll unlock as you play, adding to the roster of fun conversations between them--gives everyone in this crew a distinct personality that makes them feel more whole than just a collection of abilities.

And it's very well balanced, the difficulty of the game overall feels just right, it's challenging but never frustrating.

Even doing that made it run fine and cool, so should have no glitches on better rigs, and I can see this becoming a Steam Deck darling!
