As a note up front if you start playing: once you complete the story for one of the 4 MCs, they can then be recruited in future playthroughs with the other protagonists.
But also it plays as smoothly as you could expect an intrinsically clunky game like Uncharted Waters to play, and progression feels fun.
Graphics are good and it plays amazingly on the steam deck, not a single crash in all my hours.
