The Incredible Adventures of Van Helsing

Character development is two fold, yourself and your companion can both be upgraded through leveling up and adding not only Ability Points for stats, but Skill points for Skills,(Spells,Attacks, Auras, Tricks, etc.), which opens up the play style for all three classes to your own interuptation quite well.

With its mixture of fast-paced combat, atmospheric world-building, and witty dialogue, the game offers a compelling experience for fans of the ARPG genre.

Ended up beating it four times (melee, ranged, caster DLC, summoner/ranged DLC) and enjoyed it...

One final good thing is that there is a casual difficulty, and based on what I am seeing in reviews and guides, there appears to be no achievement penalty for playing on an easier mode.

Sound design complements the visuals nicely, with appropriately dramatic music, eerie ambient effects, and solid voice acting—particularly in the exchanges between Van Helsing and Katarina, which are a constant highlight.

Fast-paced, loot-driven action RPG gameplay: It's pure monster-slaying fun, with tons of character customization and skill trees to keep you tinkering.
