GladiEATers is a really fun game that allows you to cook up a variety of unique creatures to fight with in battles, while also doing a great job at story building to set the scene for a world with weaponised food, and introducing each of the chefs in their respective backstories.

You do little cooking minigames to whip up your team to fight with, so although the game is really fun you do miss out on long-term replayability without the "raising" vibe, however the combat and ♥♥♥♥ is fun as hell.
