What players think
The recurring themes across 300 analysed reviews: what players praise, what divides them, and what to know.
There are quite a few characters to choose from, except they take so long to unlock, they may as well not exist at all, save for those 'explorer' mode unlockable paths.
Many characters are designed with a survivor gameplay in mind (standing still or staying in a limited area using turret style skills, extremely limited dodging ability, and skills that slow you down), but being forced to run around the map means these characters are just too annoying to play.
Some visuals create too much clutter, however, reducing the opacity prevents important visuals from being seen.
Additionally, if playing on Steam Deck, I recommend setting one of the back buttons to dodge (its set to B by default).
The sound design supports this with punchy effects and upbeat music that reinforces the game’s brisk pace.
Theme by theme
Every theme is scored by what reviewers actually said about it, not just whether they recommended the game.
Ranked by how many sampled reviews mention each topic. A topic sits in a column by what reviewers said about that topic; the percentage beside it is how many of them recommended the game anyway. One more theme was raised by fewer than 6 sampled reviews and is not shown.
