METAL GEAR & METAL GEAR 2: Solid Snake

While some may see it as an outdated entry in the franchise, Metal Gear 2: Solid Snake is often celebrated for its compelling and intricate storyline, which significantly advanced the narrative depth of video games at the time, and laid the groundwork for the stealth gaming genre, and in my opinion, is definitely a MUST PLAY for fans of 8/16 bit graphics;

But I have to say a lot of it was due to how pleasantly surprised I was at how solid the stealth mechanics were.

The graphics are decent enough to convey mood and give you an idea of the space you're exploring.

If only all games were this well-performing (e.g., plenty of weapons and items, responsive controls, no flickering to have more than the max number of moving objects on the screen at once) on the NES, the NES would’ve been even better than it already was.

Memorable Soundtrack: The soundtrack, composed of striking songs, helped create an immersive atmosphere, standing out as one of the most memorable aspects of the game.
