What players think
The recurring themes across 300 analysed reviews: what players praise, what divides them, and what to know.
The main drawback is that while the core gameplay loop is great, there is not much yet outside of it.
Positives abound... the graphics are great, and as others have said, it's a fascinating fusion of FTL and Slay the Spire, and there's a whole lot of complexity to dig into.
Music and sound effects are solid too and there are enough settings to configure stuff how you want it.
The steam deck experience is ok, controller support would add a lot over just using the trackpad.
also, intentional or not, this game plays extremely well on the steam deck using its touch screen... would love to see a UI option that's a little more friendly to touch screen controls but i actually mostly play on the deck.
Theme by theme
Every theme is scored by what reviewers actually said about it, not just whether they recommended the game.
Ranked by how many sampled reviews mention each topic. A topic sits in a column by what reviewers said about that topic; the percentage beside it is how many of them recommended the game anyway.
