The weather effects look great and actually impact gameplay (worse visibility for both you and the bots; heavy rain makes using a flashlight a pain due to the reflecting raindrops, etc.).

Despite the rough edges and abundant minor issues (which one should expect in an alpha), all of the systems simply work well together; the core gameplay loop is fun, the AI and the gunplay were engaging, the story was intriguing, and it was interesting to learn the maps and discover valuable areas to return to.

Obviously it could be better if I lower the settings but I like to play it slow and with relatively easy ai so it's perfectly enjoyable that way and I rather sacrifice some fps for the great visuals it has.

another common complaint point seems to be the enemy AI, which is baffling to me. i'm not a extraction shooter fanatic or anything (I have at least 100 hours in tarkov) but I think the AI here is really cool and seems innovative. for one, there are multiple difficulty settings (unlike tarkov pve), plus a bunch of enemy AI parameters you can tweak manually.

I do think it's playable in a solo experience, but a lot of the game's strengths show in co-op.

The new map Delta is great, performance is surprisingly stable with minimal FPS drops (capped at 60 for a smoother experience), the updated mission structure and first part of the story feels engaging and rewarding, and the increased weapon roster gives us more shiny guns to customise and play with.
