What players think
The recurring themes across 300 analysed reviews: what players praise, what divides them, and what to know.
The story is engaging, with plenty of twists and turns, multiple endings that never bog down the continued experience, and as mentioned before, a fresh look at how you can approach the genre (at least compared to previous VNs I've played).
The soundtrack...was banger.
This game takes the visual novel genre and completely upends it, trying out fresh, and dare I say bold new gameplay elements that really breathe some new life into the genre.
The graphics were appropriate to the setting and were generally well done.
On top of having the files easily accessible, the game play (however you wish to choose – I happened to play exclusively on my Steam Deck) gives the player more agency to explore the characters’ surroundings and learn more of what they know, which happens to be a significant amount.
You can see your collection in the same menu as well along with the hints of any hidden ones.
Theme by theme
Every theme is scored by what reviewers actually said about it, not just whether they recommended the game.
No themes split opinion in this sample.
No recurring complaints surfaced in this sample.
Ranked by how many sampled reviews mention each topic. A topic sits in a column by what reviewers said about that topic; the percentage beside it is how many of them recommended the game anyway. 2 more themes were each raised by fewer than 6 sampled reviews and are not shown.
