Mala Petaka offers arcadey fast paced fps action that's pretty fast paced but thanks to its very charming and well defined visual style never felt like an eyestrain to figure out what the heck was going on (a common issue in a lot of fast paced fps).
Very straightforward and aggressive gameplay, maybe even a little simple, but the fusion of its pick up and play nature and the gorgeous, vibrant visuals and music really elevate it.
The weapons feel rich and satisfying, though sometimes the game feels a bit too easy, so I switched to hard mode.
I really hope the soundtrack gets released so I can listen to it anytime.
The ending credits did say there would be more content down the road in a free update, here's to hoping.
