What players think
The recurring themes across 71 analysed reviews: what players praise, what divides them, and what to know.
It has been years since i played banana nababa and my skill in gaming decreased a lot with age so it is hard to see if there ́s unlockable characters similiar to the original with a spear and axes.
great visuals and challenging game-play. see "misc" for options for auto-fire and damage markers, and even a 1 hp mode. there's a character that you unlock later that plays with a more traditional contra feel, so if you're put off by the first character, give the others a chance!
Retro-styled graphics are amazing and sound-track slaps hard, once it gets going.
One of the very best free games on steam, the controls, pixel art, soundtrack, and gameplay are all top notch.
Theme by theme
Every theme is scored by what reviewers actually said about it, not just whether they recommended the game.
No themes split opinion in this sample.
Ranked by how many sampled reviews mention each topic. A topic sits in a column by what reviewers said about that topic; the percentage beside it is how many of them recommended the game anyway.
