What players think
The recurring themes across 300 analysed reviews: what players praise, what divides them, and what to know.
The storyline is more coherent and characters are better developed, but it is also quite generic rather than making the most of the setup from the first game.
Which is absurd, its more than 1st and 3rd Remastered games combined, Some say that this is the game with more assets and textures(that were upgraded to 4k quality), but textures alone cant take that much space.
They had the design down and a lot of the gameplay dialled in but their execution was sadly a flop.
When that happens game obviously starts to stutter, but in more linear levels, when game pulls less VRAM everything works perfectly with above 100FPS.
Gunplay + sound design.
Not because it was un-optimized, but but because it pushed even the most advanced PCs at the time with visuals and features no one had seen.
Theme by theme
Every theme is scored by what reviewers actually said about it, not just whether they recommended the game.
Ranked by how many sampled reviews mention each topic. A topic sits in a column by what reviewers said about that topic; the percentage beside it is how many of them recommended the game anyway.
