While the story is not unique or super interesting, the island's numerous charms, coupled with the mysterious allure of its inhabitants, manage to weave an enjoyable enough narrative throughout the short journey.
Despite a few minor (deadlocks) and major flaws (character animation), this proved to be quite an enjoyable experienced of middling length (~7h) - also providing a bit of replayability.
There is fun to be had, and the visuals are charming, but the overall experience cannot escape the feeling of being a time-waster rather than a time-traveling pirate-filled journey.
