What players think
The recurring themes across 300 analysed reviews: what players praise, what divides them, and what to know.
This was made in GameMaker Studio, but you can scarcely tell as the inventiveness on display here is outstanding, both in terms of art assets used and the gameplay itself.
The inclusion of a level editor further enhances replayability, allowing the community to create and share custom levels, extending the life of the game beyond the main campaign.
Stealth Bastard Deluxe promises a whole lot with its slick presentation, great graphics and lovely soundtrack.
The aesthetic is dark and brooding with a sharp sense of humour, suiting the setting well...and the soundtrack is similarly appropriate.
The controls are simple and easy to learn - I prefer using a controller, but the keyboard is just as good.
Theme by theme
Every theme is scored by what reviewers actually said about it, not just whether they recommended the game.
Ranked by how many sampled reviews mention each topic. A topic sits in a column by what reviewers said about that topic; the percentage beside it is how many of them recommended the game anyway. 4 more themes were each raised by fewer than 6 sampled reviews and are not shown.
