Ghosts attempts to reinvigorate the series with a darker, more personal narrative and new gameplay mechanics, though it ultimately delivers a mixed experience that excels in certain areas but falters in others.
On technical terms, the game is also not great, while issues like the required 6 GB of ram (which is needed to even start the game and was quite a lot back in the day) have been fixed with ever improving hardware, thing like the consistent micro stuttering in both cutscenes and gameplay, and some scopes being looked to 20 fps haven't.
Staring with the positives, the graphics and environmental reactions are top-notch.
If you enjoy a slower, more tactical FPS with unique co-op content, this one is definitely worth your time.
From a technical perspective, Call of Duty: Ghosts offered a significant leap forward on the previous generation of consoles, with improved graphics, more detailed environments, and enhanced audio design.
Multiplayer overall: 3/10 - mostly for the unique squads and perks system that you can have as a nice little offline cod machine for your steam deck.
