What players think

DO NOT UNDERESTIMATE this game's replayability, it will shock you the way it shocked me, just how fun it is to upgrade tiles and to adjust your strategies on the fly based on what you're finding and upgrading.
It's a unique puzzle-like combat and I love how it encourages you to play with different achievements or metrics in mind.
It's hard to see why a 1-dimensional fighting game would be fun, but the animations, enemy variety, weapon variety, and difficulty is so well balanced.
The premise is really unique, the soundtrack is fantastic, and the visuals are gorgeous, they absolutely nailed the low-pixel art style.
The soundtrack is really good, but it will become repetitive, because you then will have wasted 200+ hours on the game.
Lots of variety with the unique character abilities and unlockable skills/weapons that require deaths (yours or defeated bosses) to buy, more encouragement to keep grinding.
