The writing is immaculate that sucks you in by your toes to immerse you in the worldbuilding which is full of mystery and richness scattered throughout the story for you to engage with to discover.

There’s also a bunch of little things that enhance the VN; the pause screen with a map and doodles of previous events, the hilarious staff room after finishing the VN and even the combat scenes are a cut above the standard with just the right tempo and snappiness to the visuals.

You wouldn't think a visual novel would have an animated fight scene but it is cleverly implemented here with character portraits clashly and swinging with each other in an intense swordfight with the music in the background and sound effects to make the whole scene come to life on its own simply.
