The writing and art styles were good and worked well together, the story was very interesting and all of the characters were engaging, even the less sympathetic ones.

Like I said, I think the game overall looks very good, so not sure why those 2 backgrounds look so basic, the one with a wishing well and the arriving area, maybe you were going for emptiness, but it just has place holder feel to it, and considering how good the ending art is, it just does not do the game justice, I prefer the consistency once you have a good art style going.
