The first couple of hours take their time introducing everything, but once the story starts building, I genuinely didn't want to stop playing.
Those choices determine your ending, giving the game some nice replayability.
tavern talk's endearing cast is bolstered by fun dialogue and an emotional story, and by the game's peppy soundtrack and colorful art direction. the solid black chiaroscuro aspects to the shading remind me warmly of the good ole classic n64 zeldas, and all the lovely variation in character design as well as the strong prop design shares vibes with psychopomp resource management sim spiritfarer (speaking of games that will bully you with food you can't eat and also make you cry A Lot).
The visuals were stunning and very well thought out; they bring enough variety to keep you engaged.
