What players think
The recurring themes across 86 analysed reviews: what players praise, what divides them, and what to know.
The characters all have their own little story and their proper way of talking, which is neat!
The many bosses put a lot of fun twists on the core gameplay.
I grew to love the combat over the hours I spent with it, and I'm honestly tempted to go back and try to beat my boss rush times since I definitely played cautiously the first time.
*Challenging fights with a variety of difficulty settings (...so that even weenies like me can enjoy the game)!
The upbeat chiptune soundtrack is also very catchy and suits the game perfectly.
The thing however that allowed me to have fun with this, genuine mechanical fun in a genre that usually pushes me out is its amazing accessibility features.
