What players think
The recurring themes across 300 analysed reviews: what players praise, what divides them, and what to know.
Combined with expressive character animation, solid 80s style ai voice acting, and surprisingly charming writing, KinitoPET manages to balance moments of genuine humour with psychological horror.
It has replayability, multiple endings and choices and fits the vaporwave aesthetic of the psych horror PC sims that are rising in popularity.
The low-resolution textures, bright colors, and clunky animations evoke the charm of old desktop programs like BonziBuddy or Clippy, but as the game progresses, these same elements begin to degrade and distort.
A great game but please fix the bugs, it has on Linux, and tell me when your done so I can play it again <3
Theme by theme
Every theme is scored by what reviewers actually said about it, not just whether they recommended the game.
No themes split opinion in this sample.
Ranked by how many sampled reviews mention each topic. A topic sits in a column by what reviewers said about that topic; the percentage beside it is how many of them recommended the game anyway. 4 more themes were each raised by fewer than 6 sampled reviews and are not shown.
