Legend of Grimrock

The daggers are very good late in the game (+ we are going to find a really useful one), but if we pick that with our rogue, then we have to pass up being good at missile weapons (bow and crossbow) which are also very useful, since they can be used from a distance.

While beating the game shouldn't take more than roughly 10 hours, the large amount of secrets provide an extended gameplay time.

In all honesty, though, it's probably worth the full asking price even if you play it through just the once - it's certainly LONG enough! - and it furthermore has a fair dose of replayability, thanks to customisable characters and multiple difficulty levels and so forth.

The presentation of the game is satisfying and despite the simple graphics, it creates an amazing atmosphere.

The sound effects are equally atmospheric as we hear the wind howling from secret passageways and the murmur of the beasts lurking in the darkness.

I'm playing the SteamOS/Linux version on Xubuntu 22.04 and it works fine.
