Nordic Ashes: Survivors of Ragnarok

Under the well made cartoony visuals and extremely tight skill based movement gameplay, the game is unfortunately incredibly simplistic, unbalanced, linear and unoriginal with its weapon, evolution and build design.

Less chaotic, more stuctured with tons of characters that play all quite differently due to unique skill trees, plus some secret meta characters that play entirely differently from the rest of the roster.

Game shoulda been Amazing through and through but devs do exactly what devs do these days, they have a great idea "Foundation" great Art Style, Big Roster and yet they fumble the ball, its the story of "Modern Gaming"

These pretty much can transform your weapons from a worthless stick or pea shooter into a weapon of mass destruction, even at level 1.

Progression in general (the upgrades) feel natural since instead of grinding same stage for gold like other survivor genre, you actually get more leaves playing all the characters at high difficulty, so it's very satisfying for the progression.

The theme, characters, worlds, and progression are all great.
