In a previous version, only Player 1 would gain experience and be able to allocate skill points, while Player 2 was restricted to using characters that Player 1 had already leveled.
But this is a really really short game, which means you need other things for replayability.
As an expanded and enhanced version of the original Phantom Breaker: Battle Grounds, this title builds on the foundation of the series with refined mechanics, additional characters, and improved visuals, delivering a richer and more varied experience for both newcomers and returning fans.
Cooperative multiplayer is one of the game’s greatest strengths, allowing up to four players to team up locally or online.
The soundtrack complements the visual style perfectly, with high-energy tracks that amplify the intensity of combat and add to the overall atmosphere.
