For meta progression, there is a lot to unlock between runs, like a lot, as well as an added hard mode you can play with after beating the game once.
Simulakros has 3 playable characters and each of them feel very fun, the modifiers you get to pick between on runs are stackable and there are many that are unique to each character.
Gun play and OST are enjoyable too.
