Soulstone Survivors

The survivor genre as popularized by Vampire Survivors has had many games attempting their own spin and Soulstone is no different, offering a deep progression system with varied gameplay across different maps and game modes on your path to creating a god build and there is some truth to this.

There is a large passive tree, many characters, weapons, skills, and runes to give you something new to see with each run.

The game offers a huge roster of characters (even if their core gameplay isn’t wildly different), 4–5 weapons per character with small variations, and a massive amount of achievements.

The graphics are fairly decent, though the art direction is pretty generic and enemy death animations are extremely lacking and visually unsatisfying.

The game has dodge mechanics and enemies actually use attacks against you rather than dealing damage by simply just touching you, so it keeps you engaged and on your feet, and it actually makes higher-difficulty/longer runs quite challenging, since you actually have to position yourself well while dealing with tons of enemies and bosses bombarding you with huge, hard-hitting attacks.

The graphics are just okay — nothing special — but the sound design is excellent.
