What players think
The recurring themes across 300 analysed reviews: what players praise, what divides them, and what to know.
The story, music, and art of this game are all very good, especially the story.
The thing is the overall gameplay can get boring and repetitive at times, the hitboxes are very wonky, and this game was definitely NOT meant to be played with a gamepad.
Impactful soundtrack, in its apparent simplicity it still manages to leave a deep impression
On top of that, the resolution is pretty ass and the game is locked at 40 fps and there isn't a settings menu to change graphics options or anything.
Theme by theme
Every theme is scored by what reviewers actually said about it, not just whether they recommended the game.
No recurring complaints surfaced in this sample.
Ranked by how many sampled reviews mention each topic. A topic sits in a column by what reviewers said about that topic; the percentage beside it is how many of them recommended the game anyway. 3 more themes were each raised by fewer than 6 sampled reviews and are not shown.
