The patch fixed some really annoying bug, the devs made a slower introduction, and there are definitely more visual / audio cues that really, REALLY, helps with the combat, etc...

The game does not try to be serious, yet it's narrative is kinda solid, for my 6 hour playthrough i got the suspense in some areas, jokes on computers, interesting locations that want to tell stories including environmental storytelling.

The sound design and music are great too (the song that plays on the mysterious facility was my favourite) and the whole thing comes together in an atmosphere that just feels so extremely metallic.
