What players think
The recurring themes across 159 analysed reviews: what players praise, what divides them, and what to know.
It's an interesting game with a truly unique art style and atmosphere, but the combat just feels horrible.
The game does not try to be serious, yet it's narrative is kinda solid, for my 6 hour playthrough i got the suspense in some areas, jokes on computers, interesting locations that want to tell stories including environmental storytelling.
- Solid first-person Metroidvania progression, where finding new cybernetic abilities lets you backtrack and unlock previously unreachable areas.
However, the music design is serviceable, and is, I believe to be pretty bland/forgettable.
- Cool attention to detail, like equipped rings actually showing up on your character's hands in-game instead of just being menu stat boosts.
The game play is fluid and works well with mouse and keyboard, and controller.
Theme by theme
Every theme is scored by what reviewers actually said about it, not just whether they recommended the game.
Ranked by how many sampled reviews mention each topic. A topic sits in a column by what reviewers said about that topic; the percentage beside it is how many of them recommended the game anyway.
