The core gameplay is fun, addictive, and clearly made with care.
The graphics are quite a bit prettier, but this is actually a downside quite often as the game is not yet well-optimized and occasional jankiness and frame-rate issues are very common.
With better optimization and performance fixes, this could easily become an amazing game instead of just a good one.
Multiplayer co-op is one of the game’s strongest selling points, offering a more dynamic and communal experience.
I did play solo so I cannot testify to the multiplayer experience.
