Story and characters
Players who bring up Story and characters mostly praise it.
Star Overdrive is a really cool and original sci-fi adventure that stands out thanks to its atmosphere, emotional story, and strong creative identity.

Gameplay
Players who bring up Gameplay mostly praise it.
After 8 hours of gameplay I'm still not sure what the rules actually are as to when you get boost and when you don't and when you should hold the jump button and when you shouldn't.

Audio
Players who bring up Audio mostly praise it.
The music tapes you find around the map are a nice addition to the soundtrack, initially I felt that the choice of a subtle ambience soundtrack during exploration like in Zelda was a little too much, but the rock songs you can play at any time (who is the band??!?!)

Graphics
Players who bring up Graphics mostly praise it.
Graphics is very beautiful, there are views of the planet in this game that made me stand still and stare for minutes, the hoverboard is something completely new and alone deserves to the game a positive review, since It’s becoming increasingly rare that we see new kind of bold gameplay in this kind of bigger "open world"games, no wonder it comes for an indie team.

Interface
Players who bring up Interface mostly praise it.
Upgrades feel more like real discoveries instead of just menu optimization.

Difficulty
Players who bring up Difficulty mostly praise it.
The game is, overall, too easy; it never demands more than the bare minimum from you.
