The story and setting is something new and interesting from previous My Lovely games.
I didn’t like My Lovely Daughter, in my opinion, but My Lovely Empress offered a very interesting gameplay idea that I hoped to of liked.
The 2D art style has improved
Complementing the visuals is a moody, atmospheric soundtrack that underscores moments of quiet administration as well as dramatic turning points, subtly reinforcing the emotional stakes of each decision.
The overall gameplay is pretty easy once you understand it, too easy even.
