From the outset, The Lost Chapters captivates with its charming visuals and immersive environments.
this game is a classic fairytale-style fantasy rpg that i highly recommend to anyone to play. it's keyboard-mouse gameplay (no controller support), but it's not that bad honestly. and this port holds up really well, it only crashed Once for me out of the 33 hours i played. this game was one of the first rpgs i played as a kid, so i'm biased because of nostalgia, but there's still a timeless charm to it that i notice a lot of rpgs from the early 2000s have (like elder scrolls oblivion for example). there's a campiness and silliness to it, but also a lot of real heart and emotion to the story- it's simple, but effective. the gameplay is beginner friendly, if a little clunky. i've played this game every now and then on the 360 and it still holds a special place in my heart, so i'm happy that there's this steam port with The Lost Chapters dlc. the moral binary may be annoying to some (especially with how being Good or Evil actually affects how your character looks), but it is still a lot of fun!
