The last case of Benedict Fox certainly isn't a metroidvania for everyone as it does a few elements like story, worldbuilding, exploration and visuals VERY good while it stumbles on others like combat and platforming.
I'm happy to say that for me it was the former because while i absolutely love good platforming and level design, exploration in this game is just so intriguing that i didn't mind the mediocre combat at all.
While the premise is interesting and the art style is quite nice, Benedict Fox falls short of the mark.
You can change the difficulty dynamically in the settings while playing (which is a good thing imo - though I'm seeing a lot of people being salty about how others play... no idea why - it's a single player game folks, it shouldn't matter to you even if people straight up cheat in it - it's their experience, not yours)
