Sleeping Dogs

The pacing and writing are a bit bumpy here or there, but overall the plot about undercover cop Wei Shen, who infiltrates the Hongkong Triads for reasons of personal vendetta but then slowly becomes personally and emotionally attached to the gangsters he wants to put behind bars, is entertaining from start to finish.

Driving and exploration on this fictional representation of Hong Kong is very fun and oddly calming.

This is further amplified by the fact that wearing different combination of clothing has benefits to your over all performance in hand-to-hand combat.

For a game from 2012 Sleeping Dogs looks borderline phenomenal, even without the high-res textures DLC (for whatever stupid reasons, all the DLC for this game are not available on Steam).

Audio is pretty good with decent soundtrack and very good voice actors.

With that said, I found the combat incredibly satisfying, if not a little bit easy on the default difficulty.
