Keeper's Toll

Having a handful of starting characters without having to grind to unlock them is nice, and makes tinkering around in the early game a little more interesting.

Overall this is a fun game, good music , pixel art , boss design , character design, it's very playable as is and has more characters and levels in the works,

A dark fantasy "bullet heaven" game with nice detailed pixelated graphics and good soundtrack.

But the addition of a follow able in game quest is a HUGE plus and makes the first play through amazing, much better then similar games far more lose quests.

Sound effects are nice but not enough when there's so much else going on the screen.

Rather than chasing trends or overloading the game with feature creep, it leans into its core strengths: visceral combat, compelling hero variety, and an oppressive, haunting atmosphere that reinforces its dark fantasy setting.
