this game has a lot of good ideas and the dev is very clearly passionate about it and i really respect that, but anything past the first run just doesn't feel very fun. for a game that is designed around replayability, that's not grat, which is why i'd love a neutral review instead of a straight yes or no recommendation.
one of the positives i really enjoy, though, is the legacy system. very cool that your characters will pass down their best traits to your next characters.
Playing with friends through local split-screen or Remote Play Together creates some of the game’s best moments, especially when coordinating defenses and combining different builds during difficult waves.
