You use all your party members overworld abilities too having to flip around between characters and not just have mario "turn into a boat and he can fly and he has a hammer and he jumps" every party member has multiple uses and different puzzles to use them with.
The combat is what you know but with added bonuses that make it fresh unique and have more replayability.
Colourful visuals, a good soundtrack, fun characters and writing: This is a must for fans of Paper Mario.
The art style lived up to what I'd hoped for - it's vibrant but smooth.
