Despite these grievances the story of the game intrigued me and kept me on the hook long enough that I finished the game in a single sitting and even got most of the achievements along the way.
It never feels as imposing or unnerving as some of the classics which inspires its gameplay, but it offers a light-yet-familiar experience aimed at people from a certain era of gaming, and mostly succeeds in its presentation.
