The art style is beautiful though, the music and sounds are nice and I’ve only encountered a few bugs that were not game breaking (Except one where a citizen got stuck, but it was more like an annoyance).
It is left very vague and identityless as the focus seems to be the setting and the survival - but if it had a more gripping story it would have balanced out the pillars that have been focused on here (Art + Interface/Gameplay)
More a trudge of maintenance; the "storyline" felt like a checklist and the occasional quests felt like punishments, and that made both feel like chores rather than accomplishments.
The overall presentation is complemented by a calm, atmospheric soundtrack that enhances the relaxed pacing, making the experience feel more contemplative than intense.
But the poor optimization will take away from the fun factor.
