What players think

The game expertly blends city management with character progression, creating a satisfying loop of growth, strategy, and storytelling.
Developed by Kairosoft, known for their distinctive pixel-art style and engaging management sims, this sequel invites players to take on the role of a village overseer who must attract adventurers, manage resources, and develop a thriving fantasy settlement.
The combination of nostalgic visuals and smooth interface makes for an enjoyable and comfortable user experience.
The upbeat and whimsical soundtrack adds to the game’s cheerful atmosphere, while sound effects for construction, training, and combat are satisfying and enhance the feedback loop.
Kairosoft is a small team but they are very good at what they do, you know with each game you're getting a well polished fun spin on management, this team is so good infact that I have a strange setup in that I use a Steam Deck in Desktop mode and this usually brings its own problems with some games, however every time i have emailed any issues to Kairosupport they've been world class in communicating with me and fixing these issues incredibly fast!
Sound design in Dungeon Village 2 complements the visual style perfectly.

Every theme is scored by what reviewers actually said about it, not just whether they recommended the game.
Ranked by how many sampled reviews mention each topic. A topic sits in a column by what reviewers said about that topic; the percentage beside it is how many of them recommended the game anyway.
