The gameplay is a mixed bag on the one hand not only does it do more than the previous game, it all so expands on a few things particularly the combat and puzzles although that can sometimes be to its own detriment.

It also gives a big incentive to exploration having this sort of semi open world as you explore different parts of the town in order to solve puzzles, gather items to solve other puzzles or just advancing in the story, we also have a car we can drive, although I didn't really care for it but I'll get to all that in the dislikes.

Now then likes, the story is really good like the first game this story takes inspiration from other works of horror like Salem's lot and the story also expands on the original story of the first game, answering a lot of questions and presenting a lot of interesting twists and turns.

The graphics are good and still just as good like the first game I love the Retro aesthetic, in fact I feel like in certain ways it improved a bit while still keeping that sort of classic newgrounds charm.

The saving is limited to the truck and a few other places so it forces you to play through the parts prior to your death which was a bit frustrating at first but I grew to appreciate it for adding a level of difficulty to the game.

The music is good with plenty of great tracks that really set the mood, in fact it's even better than the music in the first game to the point I wish there was a soundtrack DLC.
