What players think
The recurring themes across 102 analysed reviews: what players praise, what divides them, and what to know.
This game did a great job of taking a simple story with resonant themes and creating a small, vivid world crammed full of interesting details and haunting art.
Also the soundtrack is a banger I have to say.
The surreal tag is definitely appropiate for this game, the visuals were out of this world, twisted and very creepy.
The gameplay is best described as a short walking-sim with a racing-themed minigame (the driving is by no means the primary focus despite what the title might suggest).
The dialogue advancement wasn’t very interface friendly either in that it’s a tad jarring as to who’s speaking and who’s replying, even if logic dictates the bottom as being Sam; still got them confused.
Theme by theme
Every theme is scored by what reviewers actually said about it, not just whether they recommended the game.
No recurring complaints surfaced in this sample.
Ranked by how many sampled reviews mention each topic. A topic sits in a column by what reviewers said about that topic; the percentage beside it is how many of them recommended the game anyway.
